Do any of you ever feel like you get to the WT on Thursday and think 'where has the week gone??' I do, every Thursday.
I did old and new things today. The old is heat embossing and two old, wood mounted stamps that have been unused for too long. I generally don't take off the stamps from the wood blocks like some do; I like to keep the integrity of the stamp, even though I know that storage and stamping would be improved. I guess I'm lazy too. The paper I stamped this Asian pear on is from some Dollar Tree packaging, sort of glossy and I had thrown it in my spray box. Many sprays on it, some metallic, very random. It is so cool in person, lots of texture and dimension. It looks a bit like retiform, although that was not planned. Because it was rather thin, I mounted it onto an old card back (purchased card). I'm so into recycling lately. Stenciled some beautiful paste and added the sentiment, divided. Stenciling and paste is the new; I'd not have done that when I last used these stamps. I had a blast!

The random sprays on you background look amazing with the texture paste and embossed pear, Jean! Great job taking what’s old and mixing it with the new!

I'll be this feels heavenly to touch. I always have to touch my heat embossed part of the card, but you also have paste to touch. How fun! So nice to use a discard for your card~
