This card was created for the Teapotter Challenge for a young lady who needs encouragement and loves Yoga. It is also being posted the this month's MISTI Monday challenge to make a square card.
I used the Yoga Giraffe by Stampenduos. It was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Spectrum Noir markers. Then I decided I needed color for the background, so I made a mask. I ink blended green all over and then thought about the sky. Some cards are not planned much ahead of time and green in the sky was not great. I decided a sun would be good and decided to add stenciling. I think it worked. I stamped the greeting and decided to fussy cut around it. It was too white so I blended a bit of yellow over it. I popped it up on foam adhesive.
The MISTI was used to stamp everything. I had to keep restamping the giraffe because I kept missing a place, mostly on the little horns on top of the head.
I hope this young lady continues to thrive with all she has been going through. I think it is a blessing to be able to make and send her a card.

I can relate to the saying....I'm so uncoordinated when it comes to exercise...ha! What a fun image and cool stenciling in the bg. I'm sure this will be a bit hit!

Fun and funny card. Your sunlight was a great addition. I totally agree how some cards evolve more than go along with the plan. This one evolved into something wonderful. This should give Kristin a big smile.

How fun and love the image, and wow on your background- the sun will shine down on you whether you have one eye or two working eyes! Great message! I have not seen the Yoga giraffe before, but I feel the same way! Thanks so much for making a card for Kristin!

What a fun image. I always think that giraffes are so elegant when standing tall but look amazingly ungainly when reaching down to the ground. The sun stencilling looks good.
