To create the resist, I masked off the bottom section of a 5" x 7" panel of Distress Watercolor card and applied Ranger Transparent Matte Texture Paste through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Floral Layering Stencil.
Once the paste was dry, I spritzed the panel with water, sprayed with Kitsch Flamingo and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Sprays and removed any spray from the texture paste with a soft cloth. I machine stitched around the edges of the resist section.
I stamped the text from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Faded Type randomly on the panel inked with Black Soot Distress Archival and Versamark, heat embossed with Ranger Superfine Detail White Embossing Powder.
I added Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Crochet Thinlits twice and fixed to the bottom edge of the resist panel.
I coloured a scrap of Distress Watercolor card with Kitsch Flamingo and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks, sprinkled randomly with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Embossing Glaze and heat set. I die-cut the shadow section of Simon Says Stamp Love die from Distress Watercolor card, die-cut the word love twice from Distress Watercolor card and once from the coloured scrap and layered to create dimension.
I inked the sentiment from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text with Versamark ink, stamped on to a thin strip of Distress Alcohol Ink Cardstock, heat embossed with Ranger Superfine White Embossing Powder and fixed in place with Sizzix Foam Adhesive.
I die-cut a heart twice from Sizzix Mat Board using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Heartfelt BigZ die, layered to create dimension and covered with a thick(ish) layer of Distress Crackle Texture Paste. Once the paste was dry, I sprayed with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Spray.
I decorated the heart with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Bouquet Findings flowers, lightly coloured with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink using a Distress Detailer Brush. To finish I trimmed the panel down to 4.1/2" 6.1/2" and matted on to a 5" x 7" white card blank
