Though the Valentines I shared last week were fun to make, this week I created the most important Valentine of all: the one I give my husband!
I am entering this card in FIVE of the challenges from this and last week over on Split Coast Stampers:
WORD0121: S.L.E.D. - This design incorporates each of the letters by featuring Stars, Love, Embossing, and the Depth of both layers and deep dark color!
CAS624: Hearts - Often CAS cards feature a ton of white space, but with this spin on the design concept, I swapped the white space for navy space. It's a fun way to get visual impact on a still-clean design!
SC839 = a loose interpretation of the sketch!
WT830: Brads - I created my own brad of sorts by heat embossing the larger, single star from the Upon A Star set, cutting it out by hand, and adhering it over the top of the sentiment strip on this card.
F4A570: Hold the Red - there's no red to be found on this Valentine!

Love the gold embossing on the navy!
