Welcome to TLC833-tie dye background. I don't believe I've ever done this before and it was a lot of fun. I think most any dye ink or even DOx inks will work. I did add some more color after I unwrapped the coffee filter. I would definitely use more vibrant colors.
This seems like a whimsical technique so I decided to make a fun card. When I worked at Target, stocking various products, I would sometimes save packaging that caught my eye and I must have been stocking candy one day. I like Dots, although I like Jujubes better. They were my favorite candies in college so that's why I used the packaging with the tie dye. Yes, they do stick in the teeth, not a good thing, but I haven't had a cavity since I was very young. I thought Charles Schulz's quote was so sweet; he was a very sweet man. Who else could have thought of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Linus? Have fun with the technique!

Great background with fun colors to go with the Dots. I don't care for the candy that sticks in your teeth so never got into Jujubes or Dots. But remember the giant size boxes on sale at the theatre snack bar.

Charles Shultz -- a man after my own heart. Love this fun, colorful card you have created. And, I loved all the info you provided both here and at the challenge site. I'm groovin' to the 60's right now as I remember tie dying shirts in my youth. Thanks for the memories.
