This week's CAS challenge is to use text. I immediately thought of this long neglected butterfly stamp. I love the stamp, but whenever I have tried to use it on a project, it just looked blah. I think my analytical mind wanted it to have a defined outlined shape. The text by itself often seemed to just get lost even when I cut it out. I have been experimenting with my AI trying to get the inks to stay in smaller spaces and trying to get them into a shape of my choosing. I thought that might be the ticket for this stamp and I am pretty pleased with the result. The hardest part on this card is waiting for the ink (the Lawn Fawn ink not the AI) to dry in between steps. On the first try I smudged the words beyond repair. I wanted it to be one layer so I redid the card, which is good because I got better at the AI part.
There is so much beauty in nature -- flowers, trees, sky, animals. It's like a huge expression of God's love for all of us. I hope you are feeling that kind of love today. TFL.

Oh what you describe is so me!!! Love what you did here with that butterfly stamp. I often try to create something that doesn't turn out like I'd planned or hoped - this water color style look is perfect. Love the way you added the sequins - almost like butterfly breathe!!
Fav'd as I would like to case this...
