I love a warm beverage and my favorites are coffee or tea, depending on the day. The day I started this card, it was coffee. What a crazy week! It took me three whole days to finish this simple card as I had so many interruptions. It was the kids or husband, the dog, the phone, or the plumbers; I could hardly get 10 minutes alone at my stamp table before someone wanted something. Whew! I need a coffee break. LOL
Using a retired coffee stamp set, I stamped tone on tone with the various sentiments and coffee beans and then sponged the edges. The mug and steam swirls were stamped on Very Vanilla and then die-cut and matted. Finished off with cord and enamel shapes.
Sending this to a long distance friend with whom I enjoy coffee & conversation when we see each other. Due to the pandemic and other factors, we havenât seen each other for a very long time. Glad to finally finish my card. Thanks for taking a moment to look and comment!

I was going to say what a great background stamp, but I see it's a collection - that certainly must have added to the time this took. I love the colours, and the little enamel accent heart is sweet.
