"If you are seeking the HIGHEST GOOD, I think you can find it through LOVE." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
I combined today's challenges. Yes, this card has layers but it was simple and looks pretty clean to me. Lyn, I love love love the TLC and I too have been watching Natasha. She is so joyful in her card making, makes me a bit ashamed that I have so many supplies and she is a minimalist, mostly because of space. I dipped my hand into my scraps of dp and vowed to use what my hand drew out. I love this paper, such a pretty color, there is a lot of sparkly stuff on it, including hearts, so a card about love, it is. Shouldn't every day be Valentine's Day? I decided not to cut anything out of the floating element, just used one of my old old old copper wire hearts that I made very very very long ago. I like the idea of the floral paper with the rather grungy, imperfect heart. As you can see, I wasn't that careful about spacing my strips of paper (it's a lost cause with me) and I think that could be very interesting to purposely spread them a bit more apart. Next time!!!!! Thanks Lyn and Julie!

I love it - it is amazing what we actually have in our stash isn't it. This turned out so great and grabbing that paper was meant to be as it just came together perfectly. Thanks for taking my challenge!

This works well with a single DP rather than using multiple colors. (I wondered about that) and I like the copper wire heart with the pattern behind it. BTW your spacing looks fine to me . . .

Love your take on the challenge- great die cuts and love the wore heart. How fun to reach into your scraps and use whatever you pull out- that is so fun!
