I always like a technique that I can use up some strips of paper. I have a collection of little strips just for these types of occasions. You know, I always say that I never hated pink so much until I had two boys. I've just now realized I never liked rainbows so much until I started making cards. Rainbow cards are so fun. So naturally I put my strips in rainbow order and also couldn't resist using some strips of glitter paper. I'm in a valentine card making groove, so I cut a heart and then sunk a little black heart inside it. I didn't want to put it on a plain white card, but I also didn't want to put it on colored cardstock, so I die cut a larger heart to fit it in. Lately I've been all about this Simon Says text background stamp that Jacqueline gave me. I just think it adds just the right amount of extra interest. I used it on both my cards for today! The camera was waiting on my to do list and makes a great valentine with my computer generated sentiment.

I love the bright fun colors you used! I always feel justified in saving those scraps when I need them for a project like this haha! This is such a great little valentine too! Thanks for taking my challenge!

Love that heart die shape and your fun color strips. The patterned pieces and glitter strips add so much fun. The cute cute black heart to mimic the heart in the camera lens is great. Script bgs are the best! Fun, fun card.

Oh - I like the looks of your floating element with the vertical strips! And what can I say - the only thing better than rainbows is a rainbow with a bit of glitter for good measure.

Why I am not surprised at the sparkle! The glitter card looks fab here, such a fun bright card. Love the camera - and the two different hearts.
I usually ditch scraps of DP - it's the offcuts from my own backgrounds I tend to keep and make up into backgrounds, and I'll definitely be using some for this technique.
