I have a special affinity for Tim Holtz because my dear friend, Richele Christensen (aka California Art Girl) was the person who has influenced my love for cardmaking the most, and was a designer for Tim for many years. Before she became "famous" she taught classes at my local stamp store and we were mesmerized by her natural design abilities and creative talent. She is still a dear friend and I will always be her most ardent "groupie." She taught me that I can use Tim Holtz's amazing tools to layer elements and create my own girly style. She is an amazing mixed media artist and many things she designs are vintage and feminine. Here are some of her simple, cute Tim Holtz valentines. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/3025924730363378/

Stunning, as always. You make magic with Copic markers. Love your die cuts, also. How wonderful to have such a talented friend and I bet she thinks the same of you.

I took a class at a craft shop that Richelle taught several years ago. I also took a class with Tim and Mario - both classes were wonderful and all of them were so friendly. Both of the shops have closed now unfortunately..... Love the sparkle on your die cut background and pretty flower - and your coloring is so beautiful as usual!
