Susan, who made the stamp you sent me for Christmas? It's unmounted.
Everything I used was from my scraps or stash. I knew I had some remnants of a faux woodgrain, don't remember what technique. If I can backtrack to the card I made it for, I can put that in. The background for the chair was a stencil with sprays in my stash, I just added a light coat of green. I had very little of the woodgrain so had to get creative with cutting it, even mitered the corners. I don't know what house this chair was in, but the picture was from a 2018 calendar, again from Susan. We are going to travel to some of his houses some day. After the card was done, I realized that there was only one arm on the chair so I added some strips to balance it. Doesn't match but I like it better.

It's Serendipity Stamps by IO (think Impression Obsession bought them out). I love this genius use of the calendar page and your wood grain frame is perfectly mitered. Sitting here with a huge smile on my face...you are so VERY creative, bfnm!!!!

I love that quote! Your woodgrain frame is fantastic especially since you already had it! Many years ago I was in WI in April to go see FLW houses and there was a freak blizzard so I did not get to go! But one day I will get there, too!

A one-armed chair sounds perfect for a guitarist! And a knitter. It works for me. The woodgrain just looks like direct to paper from here. Great quote.
I have a year book that I use to keep track of all my friends and family non-SCS birthdays, it's photos of the interiors of wooden houses and this very much reminds me of it.
