Todays Double Dare Sketch Challenge offered by Dr. Sonja is a twist on the gate fold card. There is a video available in SCS presented by Dina Kowal for the Die Cut Gate Fold card.
You will need a single edge die that will extend more than 5 1/2 inches. I found mine in the SU Home Together dies. The video tutorial for this fold is very helpful in mastering this technique.
To frame the large heart in gold foil I had to fussy cut a heart on which to glue it. I simply traced around the outside scalloped piece and then cut it just inside the pencil lines. A little more trimming was necessary but it worked. My suggestion, pick a focal image you can stamp or layering shapes.

You did a great job getting that heart cut smooth! Beautiful card and at first I thought we had used some of the same paper until I saw the larger picture!
