I'm hosting this week's tea party and we're sending smiles to six year old Jannifer in North Carolina. Here are two stamps that I've never used. This cute Sassy Cheryl digi was on my to do list and then I dug this smiley face out of my drawer. I don't know how I ended up with this smiley face, but it does not stamp well, so it's in the trash now. I made the background by stamping an SU solid circle stamp with Squeezed Lemonade DOX ink and then stamping over that circle with the smiley face--not being particularly careful to line it up perfectly. After I colored the digi all I had to do was add the sentiment. Stamped "Sending A" from a Unity stamp and then stamped "smile" from Power Poppy Big Scripts. I drew a border around it and cut it with my ScanNCut. Then I expanded the border out more and cut a shadow out of black. I have a plan for a card for Jannifer's grandmother, but I haven't had a chance to make it yet.

if this doesn't bring smiles, i don't know what will. how awful for Jannifer and her Grandma. Whenever I see this smiley face, I think of Forrest Gump.

That selfie photo is so sweet. Mind you, I think it's already dated since most people use their phones. I still prefer a camera and tripod, though. Great smilie background.

This makes me smile and even though you didn't get the sharp image you hoped for, it actually works really well as an overall bg design giving the ambience of joy without detracting from the central image.

So many smiles on this card, it's hard not to smile back. Adorable image. I think the bg smiley faces look good a bit diffused on this card. Works perfectly for a bg and for the theme. I am sure it will make Jannifer smile too.

Lots of bright smiles for a sweet little girl. Cute children having their photo taken the old fashioned way. Her great grandma may need to explain that camera to her~
