What a busy week! Finally I had a chance to finish my Color Challenge card. The colors are perfect for February's birth flower, which is violet.
I stamped and watercolored the image and then die-cut the layers. The grape layer was dry embossed for texture. I did something that I rarely do and that was to stamp with colored ink on a colored card base. The dark purple looks terrific on the lighter Costal Cabana.
I had a piece of plaid paper that coordinated nicely with the card base. I applied Wink of Stella on the violets, added pearls for dessert and used a scrap of silver cord from on my desk. Terrific color combo! Thanks for looking.

That aqua plaid BG with matching solid color, a beautiful BG for the purple stamped and water colored focal point. Gorgeous card. Love, love it! Just pinned this gem.
