Lisa brings us today's challenge to use fruit on our cards to encourage us to eat more fruit in the new year. Fruit is very broad, so I was stumped for a bit, until I started thinking of it in terms of new year's resolutions. My resolution this year is that 2021 will be the year I didn't eat junk food. I also plan to exercise five times a week. So I decided to use another of my new funny Rubbernecker sentiments and paired it with this exercising chick from Avery Elle. I picked this stamp up from my local stamp shop that closed for good last week. To incorporate fruit into my card I printed this Tutti Frutti digi pattern that I had gotten as a freebie from The Hungry JPEG. It's a neat little seamless pattern that was easy to print my own DP on a piece of pale yellow cardstock. I chose SC226 for my sketch and grabbed a couple of coordinating scraps from my scrap paper drawer. As a final touch I added some Stickles to the sweat and sweatband. Now it's me! I craft so hard, I sweat glitter :0)

I can just imagine the glitter glistening out of your pores as you exercise 5 times a week. I think you will look as cute as this chick. Love the card and the sentiment. Good luck with the resolutions.

That fab fruity paper is is a wonderful background for your cute chick. A healthy diet goes along with the exercise resolution. It's so hard to choose fruit that smells ripe, though, when you are wearing a mask.
