Lisa is our hostess this week for the WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
Wavejumper kindly gifted me this stamp because I said that I never had any strawberry images when they were called for in challenges. I'm breaking it out out of season today for a promise of summer sweetness (mind you, I picked the last of my little alpine berries in December, not so summery after all). Image stamped on white card and coloured with Polychromos pencils, Liquid Pearls added with a pin to all the seeds in the strawberries. I layered it onto some red glitter card, and to add to the summer feel, stamped a gingham background and stitched it with red thread.

He loves me! The little mice are adorable and I love that they are sitting on the strawberries and haven't eaten any until he gives her a blossom! The coloring is great and that red stitching really brings everything together! So Sweet!

This is just way too cute, Sabrina! Your strawberries look so shiny and delicious. Beautiful card with plenty of sparkle and a country look using the gingham bg~
