I'm hosting the MIX challenge this week and I'm asking you to use texture on your card but....there's a catch. I want you to add texture in a different way than your usual go to method. For my card I mixed acrylic paint with modeling paste and applied it through a stencil. I then sprinkled embossing powder on top of that and heat embossed. The mixture kind of bubbled up when I did that and gave it a bit of a different look. I like how it turned out. If you're taking a break from your holiday activities come play along and if you got some new goodies put them to use!

no truer words...this is charming and brings me back to so many great memories! Who doesn't love polka dots, much less sparkly pink dots. Love, love that quote, Polly

Such a cute card and the quote is spot on. I love the textured polka dots...I sometimes deliberately heat my paste so it bubbles. Great card. Merry Xmas Polly. I hope you have a wonderful day. Keep safe and well. Hugs

This is so sweet! I luv the puffy results of heating the embossing powder covered paste. Cute little girl, feminine frame and the pink and green is so pretty.

Oh, my this is so yummy! The background looks like ice cream, well, probably because ice cream is my favorite! However, it looks amazingly yummy for a bubble gum background! Merry Christmas!

Love the sentiment and the reminder -- especially good now. Your dots are yummy and I love the way they bubbled. Reminds me of bubble gum -- must be the bright pink. Hope your day is merry and bright too. Adorable card.
