I've used the state bird symbol, die cut 2 roosters one in red and one out of dsp layered them and used design paper for the bg, inked the edges and stamped the sentiments, embellished with some red rhinestones.

The pattern on the cardstock used on the rooster especially with the shiny shape with the crisp lines adds so much definition and texture to your rooster, it's just uncanny how realistic this rooster looks. Anita, your work always is so interesting and so cool, and this is just another example. I am impressed!!! This art is just SO inspiring!!!
Favorited, I want to take a closer look at this card, and it's just too neat and has to be in my favorites. I wish that I could list it in my Favorites of the Week, and will be glad to if that thread is operational soon. I know that SCS is doing everything possible to get it back up again very soon.

Fun card. Love the bright reds on that great rooster die. Jen's right...he does look like he's wearing a leopard print. Brilliant! The rhinestones are a great touch. Sure to make Judy smile.

Very cool bird, Anita. It totally owns this card. Super background too. Lovely card. Hugz
