I'm hosting this week's Tea Party for Judy in Rhode Island. We're sending her smiles, hugs, and symbols of Rhode Island. I chose to combine this card with Kim's VSN challenge --don't forget you still have the rest of the week to get all the VSN challenges done! I decided that my window would be looking out on a lighthouse. I colored the lighthouse to match a lighthouse located in North Kingstown, where Judy lives. Warm and cozy inside, there is a table with coffee milk (the state drink of Rhode Island) and Allie's Donuts (also from North Kingstown). They are maple frosted. Can you believe this is the first card I've ever made with coffee milk on it? Coffee milk is a favorite in this house. It's made using coffee syrup that is a lot like Hershey's chocolate syrup. You mix it in with milk to make coffee milk. I'm willing to be this is also the first card that Judy has ever received with coffee milk on it. I hope you'll join us in cheering Judy and her beloved home in Rhode Island.

How cool that you colored the lighthouse to look like the home in her hometown and personalized the donuts too. Love the embossed matting. This is really beautiful and I think Judy will adore it, especially with all the personal touches. Now I want to try coffee milk...wonder where I can buy the syrup out here. Hmmmmm.

Maple-frosted doughnuts - yum, they sound good. Coffee milk I am not familiar with - it sounds as if it might be too sweet for me, especially as I have recently switched to drinking it black. Well done you on the research, colouring the lighthouse to match one she is familiar with.

Wonderful window scene Jen! My grandma loved light houses and decided her final resting place needed to be near one. So every time I see one I think of her.

So many details to personalize this card! She will love it!
I love the subtle hearts embossed on the "wall" around your window...very cool idea!
And I am now craving donuts with milk and/or coffee! LOL
