This is another of my pieces from Jean's TLC820 Alcohol Ink Marbling challenge. I thought it made a good background for my little village, which is cut from kraft for the top layer, and watercolor paper which was then painted for the background pieces. The star is punched from one of my tomato paste tubes.
Rather than make a real shaker, I used chunky white EP for the snow effect, and then added a layer of acetate. Liquid Pearl dots frame it. For the wooden stand, the die is from the same TH set as the aperture. I cut two to make it a bit taller, embossing them with a woodgrain ef and swiping with vintage photo. I wrapped twine around to cover the seam where I joined the two, and added a little tag.
