I was playing around with this technique and I love the look of the cracked glass with this tree, but I really don't like the right side of the card. I don't know what to add or change to make it look more balanced or at least as effective as the left side of the card.

I agree - I like this card. I think rhondag has the right suggestion about the tiny leaves. Maybe you could cut some out and put a little dimensional on them to make them sort of "float" off the card. That would be cute. Good job coloring and "cracking" the tree!

Do you have a long large Happy Birthday stamp that you could run vertically along the right side? Something a bit bolder than the current HB stamp. Otherwise I really like how you have done the cracked glass and mounted it with the jute and brads, cool.

This is my first time posting here and just really new to the site...A thought to help this card. Try tearing the vertical edge and chalking the tear with green chalk, then put your greeting on a seprate piece of card stock and place it on an angle by the top of the tree. I hope that this is still of some assistance.:rolleyes:
