I love challenges that involve recycling. A few weeks ago, one of our FS artists used some empty tissue boxes and I always meant to create a card using one. This is a Kirkland box from Costco, looks like greenery. I did add some alcohol ink to it, I'm not sure if Lydia brayered the ai on the gel plate and took the print or if she did that, waited for it to dry, then added acrylic paint and took the print. I tried both ways, I didn't feel that the ai added much. Then I stenciled over it with a swirly stencil and peridot glitter paste. I think it's closer to jade green than peridot (I'm an August birthday and will like anything called peridot). I cut my dies out of green mirror. The 'joy' is part of a circle die, I cut out the word. Layered three times for dimension.

Not sure this will copy alright; it's a post about using green for decorating. As you know, I'm all about green.

I don't know if I just always buy the same tissue box out of habit, or if yours are much prettier - I've received several as packing with cards. I think that green sparkle is beautiful whether you're calling it jade or peridot (I think of that as yellower, but maybe not!). The Nuvo drops on the gold look beautiful.

Wow, the textures, the shimmer and the gold just makes this a beauty to behold. The white is so perfect as a contrast.

I am seeing the green in the foil! It's always hard to not get all the colors reflecting in the foil! Beautiful green in you center piece! I love this!

Wonderful, Jean! I love recycling, too. Your green box looks fab. I have a whole stack of tissue boxes & coffee bags I've saved..really need to use them!

Fabulous recycling! I showed my bread tab aliens to my mom and now she is inspired to save everything for me. Like I don't have enough stuff! I agree with you on the shade of green. I always wished peridot was my birthstone. Pearls are boring.
