For Lydia's MIX310 Reduce, Reuse, Recycle MIXed media challenge.
I started by using the CitraSolv technique with an old National Geographic, and left this pages drying while I did some shopping. You can't tell (you can in some of the others), but this is Moscow. Staying in the East, my flowers are cut from an old calendar page. Judging by the names written in it, it's over 13 years old. I stamped Off the Grid on the background page and embossed with gold EP. I sprinkled Aged Teal chunky EP over the foreground. I added some silver texture paste in a wavy design in a couple of places. My dragonflies and partial vase are cut from a Guinness Extra Smooth can - the dragonflies have Stickles on them, and the page is bordered with Stickles.

Beautiful. You have me beat with your 13 year old trash. I thought I would win with the church bulletin that had been in my bible since 2008. Love that we both used dragonflies.

I wasn't sure if you were going to use a beer can or a tomato paste tube, but I knew one of them would show up for sure! I'm intrigued by this technique you used on the National Geographic page, I will have to look that up. Fabulous mixed media creation!

Wow - a super creative technique or two here, Sabrina. You do some very fun things with trash! LOL. Lovely and such a pretty mood it portrays. Hugz

You would never know those trashy elements are in your card because you disguise them so beautifully. I'm surprised to see that those dragonflies are still flying, since they have been in the Guinness!
