Chose Holiday card to make. Have white card base, sponged blue here and there. Stamped trees in background full strength and second generation. die cut the trees, die cut the snow banks, stamped sentiment in lower left corner. Stamped the deer then with pen extended his antlers with design and same with body---my try at Zen! Die cut him out sponged edges and around the deer with red, and added snowflakes around the deer, sky and trees. a challenge for me for doing Zen but I survived---LOL Thanks Dr. Sonja

I am so glad you tried a new technique. Isn't it fun to see the magic unfold? You did a great job on your card and included so many details on this special holiday card. Extra cookies for you, too!

And so well done! It doesn't have to be big, in fact I'm sure the first 'tangler' did things very simply. Another way to keep going with this is to remember two words: shading and aura. Shading means simply that, use a graphite pencil and bring out parts so you see dimension. Aura means to draw a shape, then outline it as many times as you like, keeping the spacing close to the same. Draw a triangle, aura it a few times, then add another triangle going a different direction, aura that....before you know it, you've built a Zentangle. Please keep going with it, it does get easier, like anything usually does. Well done!

Donna I got your incredible deer in the mail today and it made my day! I love the extended antlers and terrific zen feel to the card. Thank you so much for the embossed papers. I will put them to good use. I hope you are well and staying healthy sweet friend. Hugs, Lisa
