OK so, Red Velvet Cake with Buttercream Frosting is my all time favorite red cake. (I like all cakes).
My daughter wants a bird card for Christmas and I always make them red so here we are. I used a gate door die because it was the perfect size cage for the tiny bird. Underneath is a holly spray that I photocopied from something a long time ago. I thought the moroccan ef provided the perfect amount of space to bring focus to the cage and bird. The holly is my embellishment.
Thank you Susie and Robin for the great challenge!
Time to eat some more turkey!

Wow, the elements for this card work so well together you would think they were sold as a card making set. I especially like the ef you chose. You did such a terrific job of combining your daughters request with the F4A challenge.

I have just commented on all the cards in the challenge gallery, and by my reckoning, you have been busy making an apple pie (wish I knew how to insert a smiley face without loosing the post). I digress, your card is so beautiful Angela, I love all the elements you combined. Your gallery is as beautiful as ever, thanks for bringing this striking card to the challenge. Stay safe.

This is a gorgeous way to represent Red Velvet! My mouth is watering now.. The gate die was perfect for a cage! I am impressed that you thought to use it that way. I need to look at my dies again. I think I have the same bird but no cage for him. I love the EF to frame the bird and cage! It really does bring the focus to them.
