F4A562, Classic Car

Photo Details
Poster: Stamping Servant

My green color combination was inspired by a delicious dessert my Aunt Ruby often made for holiday gatherings. Various green inkpads were swiped on white cardstock and then over-stamped with two classic car stamps in black ink. Using a 1¼” square punch, I punched six squares from that panel. These squares were mounted on foam for dimension before adhering to the white panel and then to a black panel. The largest panel was again swiped with the green pads to coordinate with the squares. The sentiment was computer generated.

Was it a pistachio dessert?...What a fun card this is, Rita! Very creative with those ink pads and then punching out the square shapes. Those dies are wonderfully suited to your card!

Your bg is fabulous and does make me think of apples...I love green granny smith apples. That car image is terrific and the separate panels add so much interest to this amazing card.

What a fun creation Rita and I love how you took your inspiration from your Aunt Ruby's dessert - I always love cards that evoke fond memories. Thanks for bringing this masculine classic to the challenge Rita.

Great card! I love that the base layer has the same variegation as the punched panels. Great layout, too!

I thought of the Pistachio dessert right away as well. I love that! And I love your card. The colors are great and the popped up squares over the other layers makes a great design. Perfect sentiment dies as well!

Love the design of your card with all the cards! The old recipes are the best, but most of the time they didn’t write them down! Thanks for playing!
