My 3D project for Anita's TLC today. I gave it a full '5' because I've never done this before. I quite enjoyed it.
I followed a YouTube video for the basic construction:
It was easy to follow and I thought for a first attempt, it went really well.
I used Christmas trees and stars for my theme. I'm a sucker for stars. I've had many of the stamps for a long time, most used for the first time. The paper I used are some prints using acrylic paints along with some metallics. I thought they looked marbled and would be appropriate for a book. I love the opal polish, it is so easy to put through a stencil. The three trees that are layered inside were watercolored and then stenciled with the same opal polish.
Thanks, Anita, for a great chance to make a very fun project. Best wishes on your move!

I think, if your box is made from four strips concertina folded and fitted into each other, that we have a tutorial from Anita somewhere, probably in the TLC forum. They are super fun to make, I have made several since she shared her pdf. And they are just as fun to give, making real gifts. I like those stencilled stars a lot, and the way you decorated the spine of the book too. I agree on the marbled paper, I've often used it for anything with a book theme.
