I combined this week's Sketch Challenge and the Teapot Tuesday Challenge to make this card for Bill who is recovering from surgery.
The card base is Dapper Denim and I stamped the Hardwood Background on a long panel of Dapper Denim with DD ink. Bill loves to read the Bible so I computer generated a portion of Psalm 1 on a long panel of white cardstock. I stamped a rectangle of white cardstock with the Buffalo Check background in Versafine Black Onyx ink and added a strip of blue cardstock to the bottom edge. The sentiment panel was also computer generated with another portion of Psalm 1. The tree image was stamped in Versamark and Memento Bahama Blue inks and embossed with clear powder before being die cut.

This card is definitely divinely inspired. I just took in every element so perfectly balanced. Love the vertical elements. The wood grain bridges the gap between that tree of life tree and the living word. What a blessing this will be for Bill.

Fabulous card. Love the colors you chose for this and I think they are perfect for a guy card. Adore the buffalo plaid and your hardwood bg stamp. Wonderful design/layout highlighting this beautiful and inspiring verse. I am sure Bill will deeply appreciate this card.

What a beautiful tree! I really like your layout and colours, great for a masculine card. The verse down the side made me think of the card with a detachable bookmark, which I nearly made for this challenge.

Fabulous looking Rita! Love, love your psalm 1 on this. The tree in the circle is perfection. Glorious colors too. And great for the sketch challenge! This is so beautiful and will be wonderfully comforting for Bill!
