Jeanne's colors had me a bit challenged this week: Cinnamon Cider, Real Red, Purple Posy with Gingerbread for Dessert. I ALWAYS take dessert though this week I was sorely tempted not too. None of the sets out on my shelf seemed to lend themselves to Gingerbread. Until I decided that I would make round Gingerbread cookies and maybe decorate them with snowflakes. But then what?
Well one thing lead to another and pretty soon I needed a plate and some coffee with my gingerbread. Why couldn't it be in red and purple cups. A few more scallops and snowflakes and Voila!
I'm sure you can find something in your craft stash that will work with this challenge and am looking forward to seeing what you decide to do!

Chris this is perfect! As you'll read under my card - I even challenged myself this week! I'm so happy you managed to get in dessert and in such a creative way.

Chris, your cookies are amazing! What a clever idea to create them--just what you might find in a bakery! And I love the way your thoughts grew from the cookies to create this sweet tableau! So inviting!
