Jingle You Own Bells - ah yes - these not so cute kitties are definitely not your typical happy Christmas kitties. I don't think Santa is going to be impressed by this pair of cuties. These girls look just like my two cats. One has green eyes and the other yellow. The one with yellow eyes loves her food - hence "no milk - no cookies". The other one with green eyes is the mischief maker. She would be the one jingling the bells on the end of her tail.
The background for this card was make by applying water colour paints to water colour card and putting cling wrap on top and scrunching it up. The next step involved lots of patience - wait for it to dry completely with no peeking.
Kitties are stamped in archival ink and coloured with water colour pencils. Fussy cut and layered up on their boxes. Stamped the pine foliage using some free stamps from one of the English craft magazines.
Hope you enjoy.

I love the way you dressed up your naughty kitties in their winter finery! Great coloring and great fun!

Oh my! Big smile on my face over this scene! I have a dog so no cats here but my friends have cats and they would certainly get a kick out of this. Love your humour!
