What cat doesn't like to play with a fun, juicy spider!!?
This cat, spider, and consequently, the words... were a total afterthought. The card just needed something else. I was playing around with two new b/g stamps I got from Cornish Heritage Farms, and at the same time, trying to incorporate today's "Stamp Positioner" challenge in with my playing.
I used my stamp positioner on the arched flowers from Noteworthy, to make the scallop. I used it for the leaves intertwined in the lattice.... and REALLY needed it for the cat. Being that he was an afterthought, I needed to use some white craft ink to sponge on the c/s where he would be stamped so he wasn't a black, white, and blue cat!

I LOVE THIS CARD, adding the cat and spider is just a wonderful idea. I love the favorite toys, it is a great font. The lattice is awesome. I bet you get a lot of use out of that stamp! Great job Joan!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
