Sonja gave us an extra dare with the Sketch Challenge today - to create a pocket fold card instead of just the sketch. I have used some of the beautiful Peony Garden DSP on the front and coloured in one flower and some leaves to create a spotlight effect. The corners of the turned down flap and the top corners of the back panel have been rounded and a lacy punch added to them as well. The gold trim around the front flap is made up of many fibres. I loosened them to hang down below the sentiment panel. For the pull out piece, I used a piece of Whisper White and added a strip of the same DSP, and a half circle of Gorgeous Grape with some Polka Dot Tulle to aid with the pull out. As with all my cards, I have decorated the envelope to match.
Thanks for looking.

This is beautiful Annette! I love the purple of course and having just the pop of one colored flower on the front really makes that color stand out even more! The matching envelope is a great plus!

Annette, this turned out beautifully. I love how you highlighted only one flower. Love your colour combination. Great job with the pocket card and sketch.

Gorgeous. The purple is so refreshing in the sea of red and green in the gallery this time of year. I appreciate you detailing how the gold strands come from underneath the flap. I need to remember that next time I add an embellishment-there are 2 choices for placement! And, thanks for taking the double dare and providing such an inspirational sample for my challenge. I always enjoy your creations.

Gorgeous pocket card, Annette! Love the colors and the way one of the flowers is highlighted with coloring while the others are black and white...a stunning sketch sample!
