Anita is our hostess this week for the Teapot Tuesday challenge - which you can find HERE.
I'm afraid I mostly just took my inspiration from the title of the challenge and that she mentioned lakes.
My window does open, but because I added a comfortable sofa for Steve to relax on while he recuperates, it doesn't open forwards, But hey, we're looking out to the lake view, so in fact it's the right way for them to open.
Embossed and cut the card front. Added the sofa for interest, with paper-pieced cushions for comfort.
Inside Snoopy is sitting fishing. I masked him and sponged the sky, then stamped the trees. Coloured the dock, masked again and sponged the lake. The fish and sentiment are dies from Creative Expressions.

What a fun design, I would love to see Snoopy fishing when opening my windows!! but I do see squirels, birds, rabits, neighbor's cats and chicken, great idea to add the sofa for Steve!!

Snoopy will make a great fishing partner for Steve .... even if Steve chooses to relax on that comfy sofa instead of fishing! I really like your Sizzix Impresslits Embossing Folder! !

Oh, Sabrina what a fantastic and creative card! I love everything about this. You put such thought into it too which makes me almost tear up knowing that Steve will be receiving such special cards to help with his recovery. Thank you for taking the time and using your special talents to help lift the spirits of my friend Steve.

I love that sofa, reminds me of the love seat in my parent's living room. Victorian, was green horsehair when we first got it. Not very comfortable, although I did take a nap in it once or twice. I love the contrast between Snoop fishing and that sofa. Too cool!
