Are you enjoying Falliday Fest...we are just through our first week and more creative and inspiring tutorials and challenges are to come. Please join in!
This card covers two challenges, the first for CAKath's Thankful Falliday challenge. How better to be thankful than expressing that feeling in many languages and fonts with an embossing folder! I first wet my mixed media paper and then embossed. Once dry, I used a VersaMark pad to lightly apply the ink. I used 4 different embossing powders to color the words. There are many really cool and different products out there now. I used a Fine point Black Sharpie to outline some of the letters.
Thank you very much Kathy for your challenge. There is always room for gratitude in our daily lives, wouldn't you say? I've been very steady and chaotic with journaling through the years, but there are some great helps out there. My favorite is The Happiness Project which is a one sentence a day. I can find the time to get written. And the gem for me is going back and rereading my thought even something from the past week or 6 months ago! What about you...do you find those joy or thankful moments that truly make your day?

A fabulous creation for a show of gratitude. I love the texture and the way you managed to emboss the different embossed words. Also, those staples! The combination of metallic embossing and deep green almost reminds me of verdigris- very cool. Thanks for joining for our Falliday Fest challenge.

Great use of the EF. That takes a lot of Patience. I did a similar card once and have never done it again! You even used glitter! I did not go that far! It looks wonderful!

A beautiful card to keep on hand when one is feeling a bit sorry for one's self in these trying times! I have much to be thankful for and I love seeing your multi language, multi technique testament to that!
