I quite enjoyed painting this for the WCW this week: painting a fall scene, slimline version. My card is a bit wide for slimline but I went with it. In addition to similar colors suggested in the video, I also used some gold and copper metallics on the leaves. Makes a huge difference in real life.
This is also for Kathy's FF challenge: a Thanksgiving card, which will be for my sister.

Love your take on the challenge. The gold and copper is really nice for mixing in the Fall leaves. Good work with the mist covered trees in the background. Love it! Thanks for playing with us this week.

Jean, this is awesome. I only wish I could see it IRL to see that shimmer. I am still hoping to try my hand at one of these autumn scenes for this week's WC challenge. Thanks for joining my challenge for Falliday Fest.

Beautiful, Jean. You really captured the dense foggy forest with your painting. I kinda lost it in mine. Neat idea to use the metallics to make it bolder colors. Glad you joined the challenge with this beauty. Hope you are enjoying the weather!
