We are sending smiles to 7 year old Sammy in San Antonio. as he recovers from his second surgery.
Here is a link to this week's Teapot Tuesday teaparty....hmmm not having any luck. MMTPT641 - November 3, 2020 - Sending Smiles to Sam by susie australia at Splitcoaststampers
Sam loves race cars and his Beagle...what better way to use this Sassy Cheryl digi image. With a quick snip of the scissors, I turned the girl into a boy. Oh, I should clarify that - I just cut her long hair off.
The card design is a Tent Card, slightly modified as I'm not very good at following instructions. The image was printed onto copy paper, making it easy to fussy cut.
Once the image was coloured and fussy cut I adhered it to a piece of acetate and trimmed as close to the edge as possible. This gave it more stability as not much of the image comes into contact with the card.
The DP by Kaiser is textured and glossy. The red colouring on the car has been completely covered with sparkling clear Wink of Stella.
I hope you get a chance to join in and send some smiles to Sammy. Thank you for looking. Stay safe.

I love the black, white, and RED of your card. Super image of the boy and his dog in the card - a really fun card for Sam!!!

So sweet, Susie. The tent fold is one that I have struggled with too, I don't think it's just you. And I'm not sure how much the odd angle of the back panel works for me with images, but it's certainly perfect with text, which I shall have to remember. What a great idea to fussy-cut the copy paper closely and then add acetate for body.

Oh wow! That is one shiny red hot rod and one shiny hot card! Love that you modified your stamp to make this cutie. You are so clever. I love the text in the bg as well as the b&w stripes. Fun, fun card that I am sure Sam will adore.
