Barbara has chosen the perfect colors to help us get our Thanksgiving cards done this week: Terracotta Tile, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Pie with none other than Thanksgiving for dessert.
I haven't done a color block card for awhile so once I saw how well the yellow- orange colors looked together I pieced together those three and die cut a sttiched rectangle. By trial and error I gradually added other layers of embossing: the textile card front, the clear embossed bouquet and the gold tinged leaflets. I had also looked through my greetings taking care to avoid the "gather together theme" which might not be appropriate this year...
I hope you can join in with us this week!

Chris, you always come up with such creative ideas! I love the color blocking on this card and the way you used it as a starting point and added so many other techniques and elements to make it really wonderful! Love the sentiment, too!

Fabulous color blocking! Love how you stamped on top of the pieced rectangle. The clear embossed greenery looks awesome. Wonderful textures. Great looking card. Love the sentiment!
