That was an adventure. This is the type of fold that paralyzes me and I sat and stared at my paper for quite some time this morning. I only made one wrong cut though and powered through. This is a card for my friend who is a Pampered Chef consultant and asked if I could make cards for her team. I searched my Evernote for "cooking" and found this cute crock pot digi. Colored it to look like a Pampered Chef product. So what's cooking? Meat. I bought this Waffle Flower set over the summer when I stopped at Bella Art while I was in Rhode Island. So fun! I made two backgrounds, one with steaks and one with ribs and shrimp. As always, I made two cards by using my two different backgrounds. I'm glad I tried this fold. I really like how this came out!
This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Movie Inspiration. My movie is "Like Water for Chocolate" because both the food theme and the "Good things come to those who wait" sentiment fit perfectly for that movie. Although Tita certainly never used a crock pot.

The perfect design for the recipient!! I was laughing imagining you sitting in front of your paper and sighing...but you did a great job Jen nobody would know you've struggled with it

I opened this earlier on my phone and then got sidelined before I could leave a comment. What a fun set. The best grilled shrimp I had were in a little restaurant in the hills above a port town in one of the Greek Islands, totally changed my attitude towards them. That crockpot is sweet. I'm torn between thinking one would be useful and wondering where on earth I would find space for it - given that even my new stand-mixer is on the floor beside the wine-rack when it's not in use. The glaze and Stickles are fantastic finishing touches.
