I had a lot of fun with both of these challenges, for the mixed media I used 2 shades of blue acrylic paint light and dark blue, I made a random patterns all over my paper, then came back over it with the light colored blue in more funky patterns. I then took my rubber mat with small holes that I used to keep my cutting board in place and placed it on an angle on my paper and used my cc to force the paint through the holes. After that dried, I took my watercolored gouache ultramarine blue and splattered that on the paper after I stamped snowflakes on my paper.
When everything was dried I took my stickles and ran lines up and down my paper to give it a sparkley look
I cut 3 snowflakes from the same watercolored paper using my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and pasted them on the picture I cut from my bo bunny sheet of christmas treasure collections. Then I stamped the sentiment in memento black .
I tried to make two paper ribbons on the bottom but did not get the effect I was looking for so I added 2 snowflakes on the shorter ribbon.
On the inside I put 4 paper ribbons, 2 on each side of the card and stamped tiny snowflakes on the inside. The ribbons were cut from the same watercolored mixed media paper I made.
My song for F4A557 is I'll be home for Christmas.

MaryJo your card is absolutely beautiful, inside and outside. I loved reading your process, it sounds like you had lots of fun. Your scene is perfect for this moving song. Thanks for joining in.

What a fantastic background you created. Sounds like I should try a credit card next time I use the plastic mesh for needlework as a stencil. I like the two snowflakes at each end of the strip in the front. Great vintage image, too.
