For the F4A challenge I thought of the song Night Owl. I colored the bg of the image with black sharpie to look like night time. This always makes me nervous because after spending a lot of time coloring my image I can really ruin things with a black sharpie. This project was really inspired from above because this large piece of bark smacked me on the head while I was on my exercise walk. I took it home, sponged it with brown inks, broke it up and glued it into a better shape and added moss. I am also using this for the CT1020 because it is perfect for this year for Halloween. We are going to have a full moon on the 31st...the second full moon this month. Come play along in this week's F4A challenge. TFL, Francie

Wow, wow, wow, your colouring never fails to knock my socks off Francie. What a fabulous creation and a magical way to use an object that smacked you in the head!! Love the sentiment too.

I wish it hadn't landed on your head, but that did looks amazing. So does your owl. Fantastic sentiment, I wish our daily forecast could be that. I hear you on the black marker. These days I try to remember to colour my background first and then do everything else.

I always luv your fabulous, saturated, bright colors. Absolute eye candy. How smart you are to turn that violent piece of wood into a frame for your card.
