Thank you Mr. Edison for allowing me to walk into a room and flip a switch. I will be forever grateful. But my favorite light is, and always will be, the light of a full moon in a starry sky -- especially a mountain sky.
This card design is inspired by a beauty created by Amber Rain Davis for Altenew. Here's a link to her gorgeous card:
For the bottom card, I cut a dark blue panel, rounded the corners and spritzed with the Twinkling H20 Glimmer Mist. In real life it shimmers and reminds me of the milky way. I cut a round mat and used it to apply the Encore ink direct to paper to create the moon. The sentiment is computer generated using Coolvetica and KG Manhattan Script fonts in Excel to get the dark background (thank-you again Sabrina (Cook22)). Stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut the trees. Drew the silver lines down the white card base with the Zig Silver Metallic Pen then glued everything down,
While I was playing around with the placement, I liked the look without the blue panel so I decided to do a second card. On the second card I die cut the moon from silver metallic cardstock. I drew the lines on the base with Marvy Gel Excel Silver Pen. Created everything else the same and glued them down. I like them both, but I think I favor the white background more.
Of course, now the song "You Light Up My Life" by Debby Boone is firmly stuck in my head. LOL. My wish for you today is that you too have much love and light streaming into your life. TFL.

Both cards are wonderful Debbie, it looks like you had fun creating them. Thanks for reminding me of Sabrina's excel tip and all the details in your write-up.....I'm singing along with you (even though I sound like a cut cat).

Lovely serene peaceful. Like Anita, I prefer the bottom one. I smiled to read your write-up because I've just finished a glow-in-the-dark jigsaw of a map of the skies with a glowing Milky Way. I didn't realise Twinkling H2Os had made a mist. It's time I made myself a couple of DIY ones with Perfect Pearls. Thanks for the reminder.

Beautiful cards....both. I do love the lines streaming downward on the white background. Full moons are awesome and I like when they beam through my window at night.
