This card is for a few challenges. It started out as a panel for the Try a New Technique challenge a couple of weeks ago on embossing leaf prints.
These were the only leaves I could find in our park on a stem. I followed the tutorial which is easy and fun.....give it a go.....and embossed the print with various coloured embossing powders. That is as far as my panel got and has sat on my craft desk for 2 weeks waiting to be finished.
I decided today to finally finish it and chose colours similar to what were suggested in the Colour Challenge some weeks ago too. The colours look blue but are green, browny red and a deep yellow. On the leaves there is gold embossing powder which isn't showing in the photo either. It really gives some beautiful texture and shine.
Sentiment stamped, liquid pearls added and done.
TFL. Happy day

This soft blend of colors just calls my name Jayne . . . Beautiful leaf prints - though the overall ethereal look of the card just lets my own imagination wander in it's depths.

Awesome! I love these leaves - this turned out great! Sometimes it is better to sit back and get something you love rather than forge ahead and get something you like Thanks for taking my leaf challenge!
