This is my card for mixed media challenge MMJ06 - crayons. I scribbled different colors of gelatos on my paper and then painted over them with gesso. I really love the soft colors that are the result. I first did a 4" square piece, did some stamping, added some color along the edges, and then cut it diagonally. I wanted the center opening to have a bit of color as well, so I did more of the technique on the card base before attaching the corner pieces. I added a lot of doodling, a couple of die cut pieces, which have some blue metallic rub on them, and then scribbled and cut a circle from another piece. I stamped the word joy on tissue paper and attached it to the circle. I'm still trying to find my feet in mixed media, but I'm really happy with how this turned out.
