This was done jump started by this stunning piece of fabric from the fat quarter shop. Incidentally it also fits the September Dirty Dozen Christmas Prompt. I started with stamping the poinsettia twice once in the darker shade of purple and once in the more red shade and then cut the red one up to have the petals poke out from under the bluer one that was left solid to mimic the layers of leaves in the printed fabric.
