Hello Splitcoast Stampers. Itâs good to be with you this week for another fun Color Challenge. Our host for this weekâs challenge is Mary. Mary chose some fantastic colors for us to get creative with. She chose Old Olive, Rich Razzelberry, and Whisper White. The dessert option is Enamel Dots. I was so excited for these colors that I made more than one card.
To make my card, I used one of my absolute favorite stamp. If you check my gallery, youâll see that Iâve used it a few times before. Thereâs nothing like a well loved stamp! I used Picked Raspberry and Crushed Olive Distress Inks to color the images. The images were first heat embossed than ink was applied with a blending tool. This is such a quick and easy way to add color.
Since I donât have the matching dies for this stamp set, I fussy cut the images and arranged them on a background panel. I used an embossing folder because itâs such a great way to add interest and texture. After a long hiatus, Iâve been using embossing folders a lot lately.
Since Iâm rarely pass up dessert, I added a few enamel dots. A die cut greeting finishes up the card.
I hope you have fun with this weekâs color challenge!
