Twister-the game that ties you up in knots...developed in 1964, eventually renamed 'Twister' by Milton Bradley (originally called 'Pretzel'), the game became famous when Eva Gabor and Johnny Carson played it on his late night talk show. The game was not without controversy, for obvious reasons.
I had already painted the rainbow circles, following a video by Kristina Werner in which she painted some freehand backgrounds. I know Twister only uses the primary colors and green but when I was cleaning my desk and unearthed this background, my brain went to Twister. I reworked the tag line into a computer generated sentiment. Inside the card will say 'we do not stop playing because we are old...we grow old when we stop playing,' spoken by our resident American bon vivant, Benjamin Franklin.

Do you know, I've never played. I had to stop and think for a moment to realise what it was. I like your circle background, and what a great quote to include inside.

I've never played this game, but I did like your Benjamin Franklin quote - we do not stop playing because we are old...we grow old when we stop playing. I'm wondering if playing in my craft room will enable me to stay young?? LOL
