I made this card for Sabrina's Ways To Use It challenge called The Game Is On. I found a fun Bingo Card embossed piece of Core'dinations card stock. I sanded it up and trimmed it down to just the bingo card and used it as a background for my message of encouragement and my cute little sock monkey.
My sock monkey has been living on my desk for months now, just waiting for the right card to jump onto. I separated a piece of cardstock into two layers by weakening the paper with my bone folder. After I was able to separate the layers, I stamped my sock monkey on the fuzzy inside of the paper and then colored it to match my idea of a sock monkey. I used my craft knife to slice into and slip a heart under the monkey's arm. A couple more die cut hearts decorate my card front.
Thanks for looking!

What a neat idea to separate the paper and stamp on the fuzzy part! You are so clever! Love the monkey and bingo embossed card.

What a cool embossing folder. And your sick monkey is cute with the little heart tucked under his arm. I really like that you used faux suede to stamp him on - it's a bit of work breaking down the card enough to pull it apart, I know, but it gives him fantastic texture.
