For this week's Watercolor Wednesday Challenge Brenda has chosen a great tutorial by Dina. There are several ways to do this technique. I have tried the other version before so I wanted to give the stencil technique a try this time. I LOVE it and will be using it a lot in the future!
The color combo is inspired by this week's Art Nudge Challenge on FB. As often happens I don't quite get the exact colors. I added brown to tone down the red but it still doesn't quite match the gray toned marroon in the inspiration. In the photo there is a window with grill work that makes me think of this stencil pattern.

Angie, such fabulous colors and so looking like Fall. I love your gray squirrel on the tree branch. Read about the one you saw while camping and how he was climbing around the trees so this card is a good memory of your camping trip. Awesome card and so cute!!!

Putting on sunglasses - lol - I think this looks like molten fire - and I know what that looks like, having stood on the rim of an active volcano in Japan! You really got a fantastic imprint from your stencil - must have been the perfect combo of ink & water.

Wow, I love this! That orange and yellow are so vibrant as a backdrop for that cute squirrel.
