I am managing to get some Christmas cards done early. I just purchased the "In the Pines" stamp set with the Pine woods dies and wanted to used them. I have had the little wooden deer embellishment in my stash for years and was the perfect time to use it.
This also is for this weeks featured stamper challenge. Patti (pepperann) is being spotlighted. Here is the lovely card that inspired me Merry Christmas
I used a winter/Christmas theme and instead of Cardinals I used a deer. Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Patti.
This also works for this months fan club theme - A walk outside.
Hugs.. Pat

Very, very pretty. I dismissed this set the first couple of times I paged through the catalog. I saw so many beautiful cards using this set that I put it on my wish list. Thanks for sharing this beautiful card!

What a beautiful card! I'm honored you chose my 'Merry Christmas' card for your inspiration. I just love the deer among the trees and the stitching on the edges. A wonderful card!
