Another card for Toni's Get the Blues WTUI challenge. Try as I might, I can't get a good picture of this. The background is emboss resist, with the poinsettia background stamped and embossed in gold on watercolour paper, then spritzed and three colours of blue Brushos added. When dry, I trimmed it and edged it with a dark blue Sharpie, and added it to a brushed gold mirror card base. The sentiment is cut from the same card. I added a poinsettia and some leaves, also stamped in gold, coloured with Twinkling H2Os. The poinsettia is popped up on a foam dot and has prills for the centre.

Ooh, well the picture you did get is so lovely, so I bet it looks even better irl. Love the pop of your poinsettia against the gorgeous blue background. Love the gold embossing.

This is very beautiful Sabrina! It looks like a rich brocade. I think your photo is pretty darn good and shows all the elements quite well. Who'd a thought that photography would be such a part of card making? Ha, ha! Gorgeous card!
